The 2nd book by Ortega is a collection of poems written in the late 1980’s. Beginning around the time the author was sixteen years old. They are presented here as an offering to the voiceless of all kin. “IKWYDIT8” is lovingly dedicated to the never ending spirit of Amanda Milan.
The 1st book by Ortega is an accumulation of over a hundred sayings which concern everyday experience. Each saying was born out of the author’s observations over the course of a year (the last year of the 20th century to be exact.)
